Welcome to Festival Zone for the holiday weekend for June 2012. Today is the official start of the 9th annual Auckland Festival of Photography, opening over Queen's Birthday weekend. Dont forget all our exhibitions are FREE so come along to the following weekend exhibitions:

Tomorrow Bounty Bars and Coconut Roughs exhibition at Reef Gallery opens at 3pm Saturday 2nd June free for our opening weekend of the Festival in 2012. But before seeing this wonderful display of Pacific photography do come along to the Aotea Center to hear Bruce Connew (NZ) , Nikki Denholm (NZ), Alfredo Bini (Italy) and Matt Daw (UK) talk about Crossing Borders. In June some key highlights include on Tuesday 5th June our ever popular Festival Tuesday Circuit where you get to see 9 shows in one night and dont forget to plan for 9th June with our public participation competition, Nikon Auckland Photo Day. whilst closing the Festival in 2012 is the internationally esteemed Natural History Museum Wildlife Photographer of the Year at Auckland Museum.
