Welcome to Festival Zone for July 2012. Once again Aucklanders embraced the Auckland Festival of Photography in increasing numbers from the 56,085 visitors, thats over 5.89 million hits, on our website in year to end of Festival 2012, to the approx 62,579 exhibition visits across the region's Festival signature and fringe exhibition, events and talks this year (based on numbers provided to the Festival to date), including a 30% increase in participation for Nikon Auckland Photo Day, 33% increase in our social media users, and an overwhelming response to our first People's Choice vote, with over 9,000 visits to the website and a massive 89,000 page views in 8 days!! We are delighted.

Shi Zheng said "had a great day shooting though it was a bit cold! ". Well done on an unusual view of a dog's eye view of a winter's day at the beach. This photo got 807 votes.
