The Auckland Festival of Photography 2015 features the 5th Annual Commission, this year presented by Sacred Hill. Each year, an Auckland-based photographer is commissioned to create a new body of work for exhibition during the Festival. This year’s commissioned artist is PJ Paterson.

Launched in 2011, the Auckland Festival of Photography’s Annual Commission was the first annual commission in New Zealand to be offered for photography based artists and is seen as an important step in actively promoting and advancing the artists and the art form.
