The Creative Exposure festival encourages active participation from a broad spectrum of talent including professional, amateur and young photographers.

2006 introduced a new festival online digital tool Auckland Photo Blog launched in the month of October to co-incide with Diwali Light theme, it is a salute to the democratic nature of photography and allows for a unique and ongoing series of Auckland images making it the ONLY such creative project in the region.
