Situated in the ballroom at Alberton, Paper House is a wire frame construction containing over 1000 scrolled photographs submitted by artists and the public on the theme of ‘a piece of home’. Visitors are invited to enter and take away the works. Transformed by this engagement, the walls become transparent as their paper components are removed; the house gradually losing its materiality over the duration of the exhibition.
Exhibition opening and artists’ talk Sunday, 3 June at 3pm. All welcome. No booking required.
