AUCKLAND PHOTO DAY 
is an open access public competition run over a period of 24 hours. For one day only photographers are asked to capture an image which reflects their Auckland. This annual "a day in the life" competition will be held on 7th June 2008.

Groups, individuals, families, children and anyone who has access to a camera is encouraged to participate and enter photographs which portray the scenes, people and places that reflect their Auckland across the region. The 2007 Auckland Photo Day was on Saturday June 9th and nearly 900 entries were received and the standard and range of images of your Auckland was impressive.


The Auckland Festival of Photography Trust respects the rights of artists and copyright owners. All works (images and text) displayed within the Festival are protected by copyright and have been exhibited with the photographer's or copyright owner's permission.

No image or text in this website may be reproduced, published or communicated (other than for the purposes of research or study, criticism or review or reporting the news) without the permission of the copyright owner. If permission is not obtained, the copyright rights of the owner may be infringed. All requests for use should be directed to the Auckland Festival of Photography Trust or to the copyright owner directly.

If you make a use of a work for purposes permitted, full attribution should be given and the work should be used in full without alteration.

The Copyright in each work will remain the property of the photographer, and the galleries will inform purchasers that the photographer is the owner of copyright in the work.
