Lisette Lewis: Piwakawaka

This was taken in Drury, South Auckland. We get a lot of these sweet birds around there, and some of them are quite comfortable around people. This one was busy catching small insects and kept coming back to perch as if showing them off. If you look closely, you can see the small fly caught in his beak!
