The photographs displayed in this exhibit set out to portray how artistic, interesting and colourful some of the inner city powerboxes, meter readers, shop spouting and drainpipes really are, with all of the graffiti, tags, stickers, stencils, and street art that now cover them. Hidden among the retail signs, city carparks and down back alleys, they are like minute galleries, with free admission and with any artist able to exhibit. Few people notice them apart from the street art generation, yet they can be so creative and artistic that they stand out from their grey surroundings.
