Howick Photographic Society Inc started in Auckland's Eastern suburbs in 1956 to teach and foster the love and art of photography.
"Today, our Society is very active in the community. We are one of New Zealand's largest photographic societies with around 77 members. Our more experienced people are happy to help out newer members. We meet three Monday evenings per month, February to November and are affiliated with the Photographic Society of New Zealand (PSNZ.) We welcome all visitors.
